Viva LGBT+ (part of West Rhyl Young People's Project) is a well-established youth support service in North Wales for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) children & young people.

LGBT+ Lead Youth Worker (North Wales)

 

37 hours per week

 

Salary: £24,485 per annum

 

Funded until August 2021 (renewal subject to funding)

We are looking for an experienced Youth Worker to lead and develop a small team, including Youth Support Workers and volunteers.

LGBT+ Youth Support Worker (North Wales)

 

18.5 hours per week (with the option of job share)

 

Salary: £20,005 per annum pro rata

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Youth Support Worker to co-facilitate group work and assist in the provision of support to LGBT+ young people aged 11 to 19.

Working across Denbighshire, Wrexham, Conwy and Flintshire, both roles will involve planning and facilitating youth groups, provision of one to one support, designing and delivering awareness raising workshops for external agencies, and a variety of other activities that underpin this lively and innovative LGBT+ youth support service.
